Larry's interest in art began when he was in elementary school. In college while he was pursuing his degree in Electronics, he took courses in oil painting- a path that led him to explore art in a meaningful way. To this day, he continues to enjoy this medium to express his artistic talent. He is a member of Zoo Fence Artists, Association of Hawaii Artists (AHA) and Windward Artists Guild (WAG).

The majestic and serene beauty of the Hawaiian islands (landscapes, seascapes, and local flowers), are well expressed in his artworks. Larry’s beautiful oil paintings are on display at the Honolulu Zoo Fence on Saturdays.
